The Cthulhu mythology was the creation or perhaps the memory of one H.P. Lovecraft, in his visions he saw an ancient and very dark unimaginable horror that merely to glimpse would send the viewer instantly and irretrievably insane. It is the unconscious ‘stuff’ of such visions that binds humanity inexorably, preventing any ultimate release beyond the dark density. There are six drinks in the Cthulhu series that gradually prise us off our terrified clutching of some daemonic representation of the frozen form of our own fear and thereby releasing us into The Divine Destiny.
